Re: Original Porsche supplied hole plugs
The luggage rack plugs are identical to the grease nipple plugs on some of the permanently-lubricated, German suspension parts from the 1970s.

Re: Original Porsche supplied hole plugs
The plugs Paul was referring to are not for a 356. I suspect that he is looking for the plugs used on early 911/912 bumper guard bolt holes.

Mike
I think you're right. They look like the bolt covers on my 911.

Exactly what I was referring to, Alex. Thanks for the pic. They look brand new. When Paul weighs in again, he might want to know the source.

They are from Stoddards:

They also have the luggage plugs that fit 356 (NLA 703-002-00) as well as the other various plastic plugs for a 911 that I referred to.

Re: Original Porsche supplied hole plugs
And those 911 rear bumper plugs just happen to have the part number he's looking for: 999.703.043.40 "plug" (same as my 911).Alex Mestas wrote:Mike

I wonder if he's figured out that if you google Porsche Part Numbers you'll often find the Porsche Parts for sale.
