Here are a few pics from the 40th bash. I drove up from San Diego later than planned but there was still some cake left and I got to meet Jack. :~)

Hey Daryl - thanks for posting those pics, that was a fun party.

I've been meaning to post these pics but have just been short of time lately. I hope you all appreciate this car as much as I did, because I took a ton of pics and thought everyone might enjoy seeing this car with all of it's period details. This is one that shouldn't be restored, just driven like it is and enjoyed.

Only thing missing from this car are the rear bumper guards. If anyone knows of any that are crusty, rusty with barnacles on them please email me.

Great car and great pics. Enjoyed every detail. It's good to see a Pre-A out on the road and not turned into a trailer queen! Thanks for sharing those pics Trevor.

You're welcome Daryl. I couldn't agree with you more, it's good to see them being driven! That last pic was of the grandson of the original owner taking his wife out for a date night.

A few of us missed the WCH this year in Santa Fe, but don't feel too bad for us. We took a drive down to the beach before closing up shop.

Trevor, thanks to you and the others for posting these detail pictures!

Is the screen aluminum or steel?
http://porsche356registry.org/forum/dow ... &mode=view

In the picture above the screen is the line shown a fuel line?

Thanks again! Very interesting thread and thanks to Jack for opening his shop.
