Very fun picture, what would we do without the women in our lives. They make it all worth while. The first photograph of my car will be with my wife Bonnie, I cannot wait to share the picture with the rest of you lucky guys. Bonnie has been very patient with me and all of the Porsche talk for the last 1.5 years. :)

Thanks
Shane

The photo Shane posted that Frederich and others objected to has been removed. If anyone wishes to discuss that issue with me, contact me directly. If this topic turns into a discussion of the limits of taste on 356Talk it will be locked. Such discussions can be continued on the Test Forum, but they are off topic for this Forum.

356Talk is for discussions of the 356 automobile. This topic was barely "356-related" when it began. Posting increasingly "racy" photos of women, or parts of women, posed with a 356 only serves to make the moderators job difficult and potentially offend some members.

Please keep in mind that this is a public Forum and the image of the 356 Registry is not well served by posts that many people may consider bordering on pornography. For anyone seeking images of barely clad females, there obviously is no shortage on thousands of other websites.

With over 4,000 members, it is obviously impossible for the moderators to satisfy everyone's view of what is "acceptable" in this topic. So the only solution is to draw a fairly restrictive line, and here it is: a photo is acceptable if it would have been tolerated by most people 'back in the day' when our cars were new and it has a real 356 in it. Anything beyond that will be removed. And yes, any such line is a vague one, so the moderators will have to play the 'bad guys' and take action as they see fit. Complaints should be made directly to them using the "report" button.

Thank you for your cooperation.

Best regards,

Des, that is a wonderful photograph, no shoes and all. Just to let you know, 1969 was the year I was born. Many things happened that year, went to the moon, woodstock and some bad things like Manson and Helter Skelter. Thanks for the time capsule of a picture.

Sincerely,
Shane

Although she's a bit older now, this is my favorite photo of my little girl in our all original '57 Speedster.
