No U R not..... We are both a little bit off our rocker !!!!

I wish I could get the Redwood Red interior. I guess they now just offer it in the Classic Silver MINI?? I saw it in a Pepper White before and it was beautiful.

Red interior with a yellow exterior? It's possible that the configurator has locked it out.

Maybe it has BUT........ you are supposed to build it ANYWAY you'd like. That's what they advertise. ;) I think I caught them!! lol

Besides, It's not really red. It's more like a brownish red. It would look good with Mellow Yellow. It's really cool have you seen it?

Right now we have seat covers on our seat that are Red with Black inserts. They look really good in the car. We have changed almost all the gage rings in black, no more chrome anywhere on the exterior of the car either. I'd do the same to the Mellow Yellow car...... if I get it, and it looks like I will. :P

Yes, I've seen it, and to me it looks like red with an off-something tone. We optioned one of our BMWs with it (or what I recall to be it), and I wasn't too fond of it. Probably the reason I terminally smooshed the car. I don't know what it would be like with the yellow, but I don't think it would look right. My opinion, of course. I remember when one came in on Sparkling Silver, which is metallic beige/gold to me, and the sales reps didn't think they'd be able to sell it. Said it looked orange to them. It did sell, pretty fast, too. I do know the configurator locks out a few combos, like Pepper White with a White roof. Maybe this is another one.

Hmmm--might have to change my mind on this--maybe the car I saw had Rooster Red, not Redwood Red. I'll have to take a look when I'm at the dealer the next time...

Yeah, Rooster red is really RED, Redwood red looks more like the bark of a redwood tree with tones of reds and browns. I'd have to take a leather sample and put it against a Mellow Yellow car to see what it looked like before I'd order it that way.

Wow, the configurator locks out Pepper White with White? We almost bought Pepper White with White when we got ours. Actually it was all Pepper White and not the regular MINI White top. Maybe that was the difference.

We'll be in the city this weekend so I'm almost 98% sure we'll be going to the MINI dealer to see what's going on :D

Yeah, PW/PW is fine. On last year's model, PW/W wasn't.
