On June 21 of this year a museum will be opening in Greenville, SC, in a home where baseball star Shoeless Joe Jackson spent the last 10 years of his life. The home will be a museum and baseball library, possibly the largest in the southeast.
Shoeless Joe Jackson had the third highest career batting average in baseball history: .356. The museum is located across the street from the single-A minor league baseball stadium in Greenville, at 356 Field Street.

great news and thanks for posting this. after a brief visit to the official Joe Jackson web site i see the Hall of Fame has yet to correct the horrible injustice of keeping him out. maybe some day they'll get their "hotel out of their alpha" and do the right thing.
