Very wild outlaw...

#1 Post by Ken Daugherty »

...In the July 2008 issue of Hot Rod magazine, page 54. Its a highly modified VW beetle and in one picture a police officer in kneeling down to talk to the driver and the top of the car is about the officers shoulder level. It is the ultimate "outlaw" Now the 356 outlaw folks have a target to beat.
Guess who is the new owner???? No.... not me, I couldn't get in it with a shoehorn but it is somebody we all know and like... One of the good guys.

Those are cool wheels. They have the Halibrand look - are they Halibrands?

The car looks like it has two rear windows (one of them in the front).

Ken

Dink Farmer's latest outlaw. It started life as a 58 356A coupe. It has 911 running gear and , certainly can be described as a "Bitchin' ride" I think it blows away that VW. Sorry for the lousy pictures. It was on Dink's trailer infront of my shop last week.

I like the look of a heavily Z'd and straight-axled VDub, might even be cool to go this way with a 356
That guy Dink Farmer has some skills... love the interior treatment on this one.
