#1 Post by Folke Sundnas »

Hi!
What do you think about this creative solution I found inside the longitudal??? :D
This was on the right side of the car. On the left side the same person had used a complete exhaust pipe!!!

It reminds me of some of the old repairs I found on my Convertible D, like the pop rivets used to repair the front hood inner frame. If you want to see this area repaired correctly, look at the recent posts in this thread: viewtopic.php?f=4&t=54457

It’s better than the KG I saw that had beer cans end to end at the edges of the floor, ducts from back seat to windshield. And a 1500S!

Back in 1993 my 63 Cabriolet had the non-creative aluminum for-sale sign pop riveted to cover a hole behind the passenger seat.

I patched the hole in my old '58 coupe's rear pan back in the early '70's with fiberglass and resin. It was still there when I was reunited with it early this year. It had been sold and is now destined to be an Emory outlaw.
