Please tell us a little more about the photo, time of day, lighting conditions, exposure, camera and lens, etc. It is absolutely dynamite! In fact it is iconic! I am blowing up a copy to hang in my garage. If you have a higher resolution version, I would love to get a copy.

Thank you for your compliments! The camera is awful. 10 megapixel Fujifilm finepix J-20 point and shoot. (don't buy one) Less than $80.00...delivered! (don't buy one) I tend to adjust the "shadows", and "exposure", in iPhoto. The image was captured through a screen-door. The lighting of the day was fairly bright, with scattered cloud-cover. I'd be happy to send you a higher resolution version. Another-

Pictures of two Porsche 356's taken at the 2009 Houston ART CAR PARADE.
Here is a little bit more about the Art Car Parade which was was born in April, 1988 with a 40 car parade seen by an estimated 2,000. Today, the Art Car Parade is the highlight of a three-day celebration of the drive to create. The most recent parade attracted 250+ vehicles from 23 states along with Canada and Mexico plus many other non vehicle entries and gave pleasure to a live audience of over 250,000.

This may not fit the topic exactly but its a painting of my early Speedster with some artistic license.
Would make a great poster.

Taken yesterday morn, this is North Yorkshire. The small white blobs you can`t really see on the skyline just to the right of the car is our own little bit of America. They`re the radomes at Menwith Hill.
Nice day for it Gromit.

Larry
The color (original) is fjord green, which generally looks fairly green with good suggestion of blue. However, the color of reflections (grass, sky) and lighting can push it either way. It is a nonmetallic, single stage paint. There were only 73 fjord green speedsters. Looks nice with the brown leatherette and oatmeal carpets, but I'm a bit biased.
Jim
PS This was the February 2011 calendar car, where it is WAY too blue, thanks to the photographer's choices. Here is another shot that is at least a bit closer to what you would see in person.
