With the photo below taken my myself at an international Porsche club event at Arundel castle during the 90's I won a bottle of champagne in a photo competition by adding the caption "I only took it out once in the rain"

I am not a clever photographer and when the pictures were developed I took a double take at the one below of a winning 50/51 356 cab. Can anyone explain why the car looks small and the guys who were only normal height so tall? It looks impossible for the owner in the blue jumper to get in and drive it.

A photo added by Eric Meyer in this thread of a very tall guy and a 356 made me remember mine. I am sure Erics photo does really show a very tall guy! Anyone have an
an answer?

First thing I thought of when I saw the photo was the 356 is so small.
It must have something with the depth of field setting. I am no camera
expert, I just point and shoot.

I always loved the way the hood slope and the head light angles mimic each other.

Rich, where did you find those phots, any idea of the builders? Both are astonishing!
The limo (which could be an abomination) actually looks very good.
The panel with a 4 cam is simply sick. In a good way.

I have no idea were on the internet I found those cars.
I spend at least 8 hrs. a day searching the internet every day.
I am working on a book about WWII German POWS in Illinois.
When I take a break from that research I look for 356's photos.
Lately I been doing more research than looking for 356 photos.
I will try to find out more info about those 356's.
The limo is not to my taste but the panel sure is.
Glad to hear you enjoyed them.
