Speedster painting

#1 Post by John Wurner »

I have a painting by a Seattle artist some 25 years ago of an early Speedster I thought I would share with the group.
I doubt that it would meet the Factory authorization criteria, tho it would make a neat poster.
The painting is 14" by 21".

John,

Great find!

That work looks like a professional image.

Also, the art could have been used as an illustration? Possibly.

The "paper" people would no more about that. Possibly recognized by someone?

I like it!

You didn't say how you came by it?

Shame on me, I gotta ask, what did you pay?

Charles

Speedster art

Great piece of work to be sure. And if it is an original (as opposed to a print or copy) the factory has no say about any of it. If you should want to make copies... you would be running aground with not only the factory but the artist or his estate... be careful of those good ideas!!!

Get it in a good frame and under some correct UV glass. A frame shop will help you with this. If it is an original you will want to protect it from the environment it lives in AND hang it where it can be regularly viewed. Like our 356's are meant to be driven good car art is made to to be viewed.

It matters not to me what you paid, Porsche art is always a good investment. Enjoy it and thanks for sharing.
