I have a picture for you of my Sebring exhaust - The engine is not currently in the car to show you how it looks installed. The ends of the two resonators just stick out past the rear apron of the body. The exhaust sticks out far enough to make it real easy to trip over when you're walking around the back of the car (don't ask me how I know this).

Those were added by Dean Jeffries after he saw the roof vents in a 300SL Gullwing that was in George Barris' shop being painted while he was working on customizing the Porsche. He liked them and decided to create some for his car. There is a small handmade grill that goes on the interior end of the roof vents and trims off the opening in the custom headliner.
I recently got a copy of the September 1959 issue of Custom Cars magazine that has a six page article showing the steps that Dean Jeffries used to make the scoops - its pretty cool.
They just get a coat of silver paint when the car gets repainted later this summer.
