Anyone ever see a Jack McAfee plate frame?

Got a pic to share?

Here's some period pics:

Looks to be 1953/1954?

Late 50's early 60's?

Sometime between 1955-1958?Judging by the age of the bus.

The best resource I have found for early dealer info is over on The Samba. There was quite a bit of overlap between the early VW and Porsche dealers, and they have many interesting dealer photos and license frame pics.

Check it out here:

Mark,

I've got one! It's hanging on the wall of my shop. I won't be out there for a few days but I'll try and snap a pic.

Here's another plate frame. I think this might be from the 1970's...Not sure though:

I believe this plate frame was not specifically for Brumos or a Porsche dealership. But since Peter Gregg drove Porsche's & owned a dealership(Brumos) I though it appropriate to post. I used this frame on my 356 for many years. Got it free from the owner of a 1954 356 in Atlantic Beach about 1998. I stepped on on it while cleaning my garage one day, tried to bend it back & snap! Broke it in half. Now it just hangs on the garage wall.

Here's his old 1954. Pic of a pic(predigital age)
