should I fill these holes ?

#1 Post by Alexis Collaud »

Hi
my BT6 is almost ready to be paint
I've just noticed these holes along the front door panel (right & left), not sure that they are original
any idea what they are used for, should I remove them ?

They sure aren't factory appearing holes. So I would fill.

I have a '63 B Karmann coupe. It does not have these holes. I agree with Doug, definitely not factory holes. Looks like made with a pick axe.
