A few pics of day one when it was delivered and then all stripped down and mounted on my chassis table which is then attached to my rotisserie.

Metal work is now done. About 1800 hours total. Quality of the repro metal was a bit of a challenge. I dealt with most of it making either modification or complete new pieces from scratch. I gave up Trevors nose and fenders in favor of the Porsche pieces (at double the price!). The fit was much better from Porsche parts. My google photo album listed in the first post had 2000 pics in it showing all the details. Thanks for looking.

It's looking great. You can tell someone is serious about metalwork when you see an english wheel stuck away in the corner :)

Thanks Jason. Actually that wheel got almost no usage during this project. My Mittler Bros. planishing hammer did the bulk of the curve creation if needed.

Was messing with bumpers today, checking fit in the car, and decided to see how the repro bumper guards fit . Not good (no surprise i guess). The outside upper edge on all 4 guards misses the top surface of the bumper by a fair amount. No chance of fitting rubber in there. They pretty much fit the same on my original rear and repro front bumpers. I assume the maker of these supplies everyone. These came from Sierra. Maybe others , or Brad, can comment who’ve used these repros?. Are there other choices or is this it?

And finally , as you can see, the original fits perfectly.

Don't want to insult, but they are left and right. Are you trying them in both places? If so, please excuse me.
