Reutter Certificate of Production

#1 Post by Rusty Ferrell »

Ordered the above and received a nice package in the mail Saturday. Pictures of interior but no samples. Pretty cool. Left Reutter on the 23rd of December, '55 and per the Kardex Porsche completed production on 4 January 56.
Everything with the car as described in the Certificate of Production except the soft top which is light in color, interior and exterior as described. A nice addition to the Kardex.

Hi Rusty,
I received one for my Speedster & Coupe as well! They are a great addition to the Kardex and CofA. Reutter completed the bodies and sent them to Porsche for suspension, brakes & drive-train installation. My Speedster was delivered to Porsche on 12/27/55 and left on 1/4/56 just like yours.

Interesting that they list the manufacturer of Signalrot R 601 as Glasurit. Other Porsche documentation indicates it was Bonaval.

Cool certificate! Love all the details of the other suppliers to Reutter.

James,
Mine shows Glasurit for Speedster Blue as well. It is amazing to see how much work Reutter did before they were delivered to Porsche.
