356 pre a

I have vin number 50032 this car was built November 1952 registered and sold in the first batch of cars sold by max Hoffman New York as an official porsche dealership 23/1/53 is this the oldest 53 coupe sold in usa and is it the oldest 53 coupe no 32

Hoffman was a porsche distributor in 1952. He ordered, imported and sold bunches of 52 cars in the 10001-12000 vin range. Its possible your 50032 is the oldest 53 in the usa but by no means the earliest max hoffman import.

No one in the world knows more about that year model.
