61 cab gas pedal throttle lever

#1 Post by Paul Spurgas »

I need some help, pics hopefully, that show how the throttle lever fits into the left pedal board supports. There must be a bushing or pivot that I'm missing. I've seen many pics on line but I'm not sure what is missing.
Thank you

Paul a picture of what you do have would help. Or maybe you need a new pedal assembly: http://www.stoddard.com/64423011-nla.html

I have a new pedal assembly. The car was a shell with most replaced with Trevor's metal. Either the bearing plate wasn't there or was removed when the new metal parts were installed. The part I'm missing is the bearing plate. I'll have to find a used one since I can't find a new one from the normal sources. I got the car from Adam a while back and my memory isn't as good as it was then. He has helped me a lot sourcing parts and may have the part.
After several years the metal is new and the car has been painted and looks great. The hard part is finding all those little things that actually will make it run.
Thanks

The gas pedal assembly mounts to the toe board mount which has captured nuts: http://www.stoddard.com/64450107000-nla.html
