Issue with Roadster top frame

#1 Post by Art Caputo »

I am nearing my 20 year off and on restoration of my !960 Roadster B. With the convertable top frame(without the cover and seals attached), and the windshield mounted, I can't get the frame to line up to secure the latches. When I last drove the car, 20 years ago it was tight and one side had a broken latch. It's certainly possible prior to my ownership, that the winshield or top frame may have been changed but for sure it is a Roadster top frame, but perhaps the wrong one. I'm wondering if there are any experts on the topic, or if you know of someone I could consult. Thanks, Art
