'62 coupe heading to bare metal resto

#1 Post by Brian Luce »

I bought his car in 2008 as a partially "restored" barn find. I finally jumped to full bare metal restoration. Will likely be asking some questions along the way but thought I would post just for fun. A local restoration company is doing it as I don't have the time. Car is not numbers matching or anything special...but it's mine!!!

Thanks for posting! It looks like you have a good one there! What colors do you plan to go with?

COA claims silver over red which we love! However we have found some blue paint that looks suspiciously factor? In fact I have a post in Authenticity section with pics asking what everyones opinion is. I haven't seen the areas other than in the pics but the guy doing it knows cars and he feels strongly the blue is a factory job? Weird but makes it kind of fun!

Thanks for looking and I love Moose Drool! We live in Idaho.

Brian
