With over 25 entries into the We Can Save Them All contest, we've got a lot of really close competition. It's actually getting hard to say which is the best of the worst of this group of mutts. So for the folks out there on the Registry that aren't entered, what are your favorite worst three?
Who would you nominate for the final showdown?

In rating the cars I would use a point system. Each category would be rated from 1 to 10. The first one would be how long has the car been owned. I would give 1 point for each year it has been owned. (Example 1 to 4 years would be 1 point, 40 years or longer would be 10 points) Next I would rate the story. Then I would rate the probability of the project being finished, (10 points for 1 year, 1 point for 10 years or 0 for very unlikely the project would be finished). Finally I would rate how significant I thought the money would make in finishing the car. This would be based on the individual need, and how important it is for the owner to finish the car.

Aside from all of the WCSTA posts in this forum, I've condensed all of those into a guide here:

With links back to the appropriate threads in the project car forum.

I would rate the historical importance of the car being restored. If the car was owned by a celebrity or has a racing history, then it would stand above the others in my opinion.

Good point! I think we're going to amend the deal to have the final voting on the top 6 cars. Why six and not three? Because frankly, we were expecting about half of those entries--so this has been twice as successful as we expected! We're working on that narrowing down now.
