Hi.
I own a 1954 1500 Pre A 356 Cab.
My car has the floor pan in a fairly good condition for a 61 y.o Porsche (pls see attached pic of how it looks today).
Since I want to increase my car value my questions are:
1.- Should I leave it as it is? Or even improve with body work?
2.- Or should I replace the floor pans for new ones?
Thank you in advance for your trouble.
Regards. Antonio - Guadalajara

Re: 356 Restoration - Floor pan
I would leave the floor pans as is, they look quite good to me. You could dolly out (knock out dents) in the few places they are if you want to but thats all.

Re: 356 Restoration - Floor pan
If the pan is in good shape, you are crazy to replace it. It is very difficult to replace the original without a trace. And cars with the original pan are more valuable.
