Cleaning the suspension
What would be an effective cleaning solvent/degreaser to remove years of grease/oil from suspension parts, but still leave a paintable surface afterwards?

Re: Cleaning the suspension
1. Pressure wash
2. Scrape off all the junk
3. Lacquer Thinner with Scotch Bright pad
4. Final rinse with Lacquer Thinner and clean shop rag
5. Mask off as needed
6. Prime-Paint.
Figure yours is as nasty as mine was:
