Are Pre-A interior door panels the same as a later models? I have a beautiful leather set for my '54 project, but they don't cover all the holes in the door.

1954 panels should be roughly the same as 356A T1 panels. Where do they not cover?
The doors were completely redesigned internally for T2 in 1957.
