Seat Refurbishment for 1963 356 Coupe

#1 Post by James John Clark »

Looking for a good quality shop for total refurbishment of original seats for my 1963 356 Coupe. Live in Seattle area. Any recommendations?

James-
I'm local to you (Whidbey Island), and have been doing this 356 stuff for over 40 years. Although there are upholstery shops here, I have found it best to remove the seats, take the back off to make boxing easier, and ship everything to a shop that specializes in 356's. My most recent ones were sent to K&H in California. Photos are on my website:

Hi folks,

I've been on a number of automotive forums in the last 20 yrs. One thing that really bugs me is when people post info without providing the necessary information; such as a link to whomever they are referring to.

After some effort I found this outfit: https://www.khupholstery.com/product-category/porsche/

PS) Doing something as simple as this makes it so much easier for readers.

Oh Yeah it is real hard to type "K&H Porsche" into google. It is the first result to show up.

I use Google all the time even for finding old Registry threads. By thecway, K & N did the majority of my upholstery (less seats) and I'm very satisfied with their work. They also sell do-it-youself kits.

Here are my seats done using a K&H upholstery and foam kit. Very happy with their craftsmanship.
