WCSTA -02- 1960 356 B Cab 1600 Super
Per the Kardex and after doing research at the Porsche museum, as well as Porsche Classic, work has started on my ruby red and light grey Cab, With matching numbers, from engine and trans to doors, decks, wheels, bumpers and gas tank, we are working with East Coast restoration experts (with parts fro Stoddard and Trevor's Hammer works) and West Coast Autos Int'l for the top, interior and rugs.... Excellence is expected! https://www.dropbox.com/s/h6909wri1rs9w ... 5.jpg?dl=0

Re: stoddard restoration contest - 1960 356 B Cab 1600 Super
Hi Michael,
I check out the dropbox link. Is there supposed to be a bunch of photos cause I saw just one? It would be nice to see the documentation of the restoration.
Thanks.
Jay

So with Greg's help... Here are some photos. My cab was restored once prior to my ownership, unknown shop, and had its engine rebuilt, it appears by the Maestro. The engine runs very strong. The body was misshapen with bondo and showing bubbles under the paint.
Once the paint was off, I for the first time saw how misshapen it was and how much bondo there was. See the attached photos. Also, see the horrible welds at the front fenders.
Well, it is all straight and all metal now! Thanks to stoddard and Trevor's there are new door and fender sections.
I will be in paint this month.
The part shop is preparing the tar insulation to fit. Auto's international is doing the top and interior and carpet as I type.

More.... It is starting to come together..... Attention to the gaps and the shape is paying off. Disclaimer, I don't claim to be a professional at this, but I do try to not miss a detail.

Metal getting done. Paint soon. Chrome back soon. Interior, rugs and top back next month. Also, I realize that the before photos were never posted. Here they are. The car was not a pig, but not right!
