Marc Jordan is contestant 18 with a cool 65 Cabriolet that he's owned since 1970 but hasn't driven in a long time.

Alright! Twenty contestants. There are some real, ah, inspirational projects in the group.
Daryl Bertram in our latest contender, and I mean contender with his 53 coupe. I think he left more of it in Michigan that he brought to San Diego!
Good luck, Daryl.

Jim - I tried to send an email to you, but if you need help to post your thread, let me know.
It is simple, though, 1. make sure your signed in, 2. go to the Projects Forum, 3. press the New Topic button on the left and start the thread.
I'll move the your posts and pictures above to your new thread.
Cheers, and good luck!

Per - In order to enter the contest can I already be working on the car or does it have to be a car where no metal work has been done yet? I've got one in bare metal that I started a few years ago but has been in hibernation for a couple of years now.

Here's a thread 10164Three pieces I started a awhile back.

Hi Trevor,

It doesn't cost anything to enter..all you're doing is disturbing electrons on a message board. So post it up, tell your story and we'll figure it out!

Jim--please start a new thread that has a subject title something like this:

WCSTA #21: 1952 Pre A Coupe

and then just cut and past what you posted above as the body/message of that post.

thanks!

Here's the latest lineup - 22 contestants with number 23 pondering his chances (Trevor - are you going to step up?)
Jim Wilde, #21, and Andreas Rauer, are the newest entrants.

OK - two more, numbers 23 and 24, 356s pulled out of barns for the contest.
Robert Malke's '59 Sunroof Coupe and Carey Hines' '57 Speedster
Who'd believe that there are so many cars out there waiting patiently for restoration!
Are we going to reach 25? Heck, are we going to reach 30!?

This is awesome! One thing though….It's getting harder and harder to say definitively "these are the three worst"
