Springtime in Idaho

#1 Post by Tom Sinclair »

For the first time in 20, 30, 40 or maybe even 50 years, 1954 Coupe 52500 is back on the road.

I've been working on it for a friend for more than a year. Test drive went well, and the transaxle I went through after replacing a missing shift lock detent (thanks Vic!) shifts great. Now I have to fix an oil pump leak, get driver's door to close, fix sticking throttle when warmed up...

Anyone one here ever own this car? We'd like to know more about it.

Tom

Very nice Tom! You have to love that long reach under the dash to shift gears in a pre-A. I'm glad the weather is cooperating so you can take her out for a spin!

Loved the video, opening scene with the stream and the music - very enjoyable. Well done, thanks for sharing.
