Sending out a request to those who have successfully restored original exhaust system/heater boxes, specifically 55-59 sans muffler. If someone can point me to an article that my search did not locate about various cleaning methods for those areas a sandblaster can't reach. Wondering if dipping heat exchangers chemically has been successful. If so, what about chemistry? Take to chrome shop? Powder coat shop? Any DIY options?
Expert help needed! I have new muffler, but rest of system (J pipes) need freshening.
Thanks!!

Re: Exhaust system restoration
Looks good! I'm trying to address the places where blasting won't reach.
