thank you neil for sharing your work. I think everyone is astounded by your ease and confidence at forming your steel. I see that the transformation is not miraculous, it is insistence and gentle determination. very powerful.

i ended up making a wire buck directly on the car, and promptly cut off the outer r/h outer piece i had just made for the tail panel,

so carrying on, i have to say i have made 4 1/4 panels for the r/h side, so the l/h side i had a go at a different way of making the 1/4 panel...

i had a go at making it in 1 piece instead of 2, which was actually easier believe it or not

thank you ryan :)

more done, i had bought some wheel well closing panels but they were.... well not very good put it that way so i took a rough template, added material all around and made a new one. i shall make another template of this one to get a better duplicate.

i ended up going with just two beads in this panel, not just cause it looks more like a pre-a but it was easy to do these two in my machine, the other two were not possible unless i did them by hand

thanks for watching :)

You should have told me that's what you wanted to do, I could have thrown some Pre-A panels in the car, I sold this one, a T5, a few years ago with all the panels, the guy did a great job with it.

i can remember that one adam, maybe for the next one :)

it was a big thing for me at the time i contacted you adam, it was a realization of a life long dream to own a 356, a friend of mine had very recently died so my thoughts were not the clearest lol. this one i think was good to do the conversion, just due to the state it was in, not having anything with it really so it's not a matching numbers car, it should drive ok being a bt6 (suspension wise). i do plan on building another one after this, i know i contacted you about this very thing probably a couple of years ago now lol.

thanks for watching :)
