Re: 356 B T6 Restoration
this is the rear x member, i have made 2 inner supports for the gearbox hanger locaters.
these are welded to the inner supports i fitted and welded to each side of the x member, as seen here...
the rear chassis outer piece is welded in but not fully yet, only a few spots to finish. i do have some very interesting pictures i took last week but i think i might post them at a later date.....

Re: 356 B T6 Restoration
progress so far...
i have to old one as a reference as to the holes, beads and formations, along with the lap belt anchorage points. i have the holes for the brakes, fuel, accelerator cable and the rest of them to put in as well as the anchorage points, which i shall do tomorrow.
the round formations i put in using a 50mm hole saw then marked a line 5mm out which made 60mm dia. i tipped the area around the hole until a piece cut using a 60mm hole saw fitted, then tig'd it in almost ready for the floors

WOW Neil. She is looking great. Starting to resemble a vehicle again. I see solid floors and everything. Keep the pics and updates coming.

so the next instalment...
this is the exciting part now, and this is when you followers finally get to see the plans i had from the very beginning. i will say adam i did listen to what you had to say regarding my questions to this change but in the end my dreams and plans had to go on lol.
so here goes...
you can see in this pic the new metal strip following the contour of the front hood opening here its sat just in front of the old one and here it is...
