Spun the car around today to access RH side easily.
Finally stripped all paint from RH rear quarter panel. Plenty of lead in B pillar etc so am hoping this area is original as suspected.
Small amount of damage at rear of quarter that had some filler in.
Now all nice and shiny bare metal.

Got some free time again after renovating our factory so made a start on getting the steering column hole in fire wall and locating the steering box on right hand side of axle beam.
A couple of small adjustments to make but its pretty much right now and I can work on getting the steering box cover panel fabricated and spot welded in.

nice to see you back on it pal!
have you done the pivot for the parking brake? I've yet to do that bit and wondered if you have and what you did... i was just thinking of drilling out the small pivot then drilling through the other side and welding a new one in

Hi Neil,
Yes I am glad to have some more free time to get back into it.
The pivot for the park brake was simple. I ground the welds down on the pin enough so that I could knock the pin out from the axle brace. I then drilled another hole on opposite side and welded the pin in on that side.
Speak soon, Steve

Hi Rafik,
Was just speaking with dad about that.
Small world isn't it.
He mentioned you may be interested in a couple of pitman arms.
We are just about to list to eBay to move some from the second batch that we had made. Listing will be at $585.00.
If you want a couple, contact us directly and we can look after you on pricing a bit.
Regards, Steve
