I don't believe a powder blue would be that dark in a B/W photo in full sunlight, it's more likely a red car, or a dark blue, green. ... etc.

Plus, if it's down to the tape artifacts, they don't match either. The blue car seems to have had two different placards, one positioned to extend well forward of the windshield frame.

Thanks Peter....It was very rewarding to put a 356 back on the road! I did my best to make it as accurate a possible. The last time the Speedster had a NYS inspection was 1969!

Not sure if I should be upset or flattered that this website rewrote my story..

hi Chad, I can't email you through the Registry anymore for some reason
Can you tell me if the wiring for the reverse light switch ran inside the tube in the tunnel. Same as the rest of the wiring loom to the back, or it was just in the tunnel (not in the tube) and exited out of the hole to the right of the main loom?
Thanks

Hi Rafik,
It runs through the main tunnel with the rest of the wiring harness. Email me and I will send you some pictures. Engine is currently out of the speedster so your timing is good!

Thanks Steve! I drove my speedster from just outside of Buffalo to Watkins Glen, it was about a 2.5hr drive ad the longest distance that I have drive the Speedster. The weather was perfect, top down the whole way!

The blue exterior and red interior has always been one of my favorite combinations. Everybody and their cousin has a red one... :?
