You're the MAN Trevor. I never mastered welding, upholstery or painting. Actually I've never mastered anything, and done 30+ cars, but nothing like that. CONGRATS !!! ……….Jim.

Trevor, great work you are doing. Very motivational. Welding and fabrication for me is therapeutic. Though some days it might not feel like it.

Re: WCSTA -25- 10164Three pieces
Last pics for now. The floor is cleco’d in place ready for spot welding. I’m going to continue on with the rear torsion area, longitudinals and front door jamb closing panels before I weld in the floor for good.
Thanks for looking. If anyone has questions please ask.

Nice work. Don't forget the crack in image 96015CD6 etc. Where the original diagonal joins the chassis.

There once was a young man named Trevor.
To restore an old Porsche was his endeavor.
Although it came in pieces three,
it didn't faze him, you see,
for at welding he proved exceedingly clever.

....It was the least I could do. Great work on the car. You're doing something that I would never attempt.

Re: WCSTA -25- 10164Three pieces
hi Trevor checked out your thread again, looks like you are chasing down the details of your bodywork. I think it was wise to put rotisserie around your car. i'm sure it helps you get the best results from your efforts. one thing I am noticing is you have had to attend to more swiss cheese sheet metal than I had to contend with. it just has to be done and it can't be rushed. the sense of accomplishment is nice but won't it be nice to drive it someday. ktf
