Chad, I’ll take more pics of the engine bay later. This one looking at rear shelf.

Hi Rusty,
Post more engine pictures when you get a chance. I see carb heaters in the picture above which is common for the 1600 Pre A Speedsters!

Thanks,
Chad

Question regarding seat mounts. I notice on Chad's Speedster that the seat mounts have two studs coming up from the floor mounts. My car only have one stud, same rear mount design, but the front mount is barely raised from the floor, almost like the floor was raised a bit for the bolt. I just received the Pre A floor kit from stoddard and they include 4 round mounts. Anyone, please clarify, my car was finished at the same time as Chad's per the Kardex, but a few numbers earlier 81213.
thanks, folks,
Rusty

Hi Rusty,
The one stud seat mount is correct. During the restoration I made the decision to upgrade to the 2-stud version. I still have the 1-stud seat mounts as well. Wish I would have kept that feature original.
