Followup: Saturday, March 14, 2009, 21 members of TYP356ne and another ten members from the Southern Connecticut 356 club met at Farnbacher Loles in Danbury, CT for an informative tech session on the front suspension.

Jeff Adams, Air-Cooled Specialist and Kip Harris, Managing Director welcomed us to their shop. Jeff is known as a four cam specialist, one of only a few in the world. Plus, Jeff works on any 356 maintenance issue or question you have about your car.

Farnbacher Loles in Danbury, CT is hosting a TYP356ne Tech Session on Saturday, March, 14, 2009 at 12 noon.

They are interesting for two reasons. First, the key employees of KAM Motorsports now work at Farnbacher, and secondly, if you watched the 24 Hours of Daytona, they are one of the leading Porsche racing teams in the US, and World.

Farnbacher Loles was founded in early 2005 and is located in Danbury, CT. They only work on Porsches that date from push rod and four cam 356’s to Porsche Cup cars that just completed the 24 Hours of Daytona in January 2009.

Their 20,000 square foot European style building is equipped with the latest in technology to provide a complete engine shop, fabrication room, wheel and tire center, in ground laser alignment system, engine diagnostic equipment, 4-wheel chassis dyno, detail bay and a fully-stocked parts center. Jeff Adams, our tour leader, is a specialist in Four Cam and air cooled Porsches. Kip Harris is our host and is the managing director.

Here is their Website, that includes directions: http://www.farnbacherloles.com/

Their shop is about three hours from Boston, so plan to car pool there.

Let me know if plan to attend. We are scheduled to arrive at noon, and will have lunch afterwards in Danbury.
