The Southern Drive Team is considering a format option for our 2019 event.
In general, this time we want to offer a two - part adventure tour.

Part 1 The SAME…but…
We will hold our normal event again in Helen GA from Thursday September 19th to Sunday September 22nd. Music, at leisure driving, bonfires, refreshments, hospitality & a shirt to spill it on, brat & movie night, outings, Saturday pig roast, the Sunday Helen 100Km driving event ending in a catered lunch at a great place for 5 star meal. Those needing to get back are welcome to depart for home after lunch.

Part 2 - DIFFERENT…then…
After lunch on Sunday, those registered for part 2 we will drive from Helen GA to Sapphire Valley NC. Monday will drive the Blue Ridge Parkway or take a scenic train ride from Bryson City to Sylva. Dinner Monday evening will be the final event of the tour.

Each part will be priced separately - participate in both or just one as you have the time.

Please let us know if you would be interested in both parts or just one. We look forward to hearing from you soon and your inputs will determine the 2019 general direction of “different”. As always, this is done as a laid back fun event all about friends and driving the cars. We’re always “the same…but different”. For our fifth event we’d like your inputs for something really “different”. Lot of moving parts and, as always, the loose association of friends look forward to pulling of another event for y'all.

We’ll take your inputs, see what we can hammer together, and shoot to have our website up after the first of the year, with registration running the entire month of February. The event is already on the Registry calendar and it is, as always, on or about Ferry’s birthday.

Oh, as always the sponsorship of many P car related businesses and friends do a lot for the event. If you'd like to get an early jump on the others for primo tagged advertising and/or single activity sponsorship, let us know...operators are standing by.

Thanks very much,
George, Leonard, Daryle and the 2019 Helen Crew…John, Rudy, Glen and Mary, Deb, Paul, Joe, and Janis.

Since you can see in Jeff's avatar, I led him on the last Helen drive, I'll have to do it again in 2019. I'm in for 1 & 2 KTF

In this case it is age before beauty - (and in the full picture, which had to be cropped to fit the Registry's MP limit, the lead car is actually Bill Tate's Speedster) ;)

Had a great time in our 911 in 2017, and would love to be a part of 2019 - this time in our C coupe!

Interested in Part 1 for sure, possibly Part 2 - hard to turn down a steam train! It'd be neat to have some kind of car photo opp with the train.

George this would be my first time and it sounds great. I'm probably limited to Part I. You just live down the road from me (I-20) that is. Add me to the list of contacts.
