Northern California Event Updated

Happy New Year, here's a quick update on 356 events:

First off the 356 California Alta Region has an updated website, it went live yesterday, still at http://www.356car.org/ fine tuning will be ongoing
Check back for information on the annual North South Gathering, registration should open in late January.

December 30th is the last 5th Saturday Breakfast for 2017, 9am or a little before, Point Pinos Gill, at The Pacific Grove Muni Golf Course. Asilomar Ave near the end of Lighthouse.
After the breakfast, there will be a open house/shop tour in Watsonville. Klay Schott, has invited everybody to view his place. His main business is Safari Signs, which is a state of the art graphics shop, doing everything from small stickers and decals to giant posters and car wraps. He also restores cars, currently he is finishing a 356 roadster for Jim Barrington. He also owns a 356 and 912, plus other various cars and BSA motorcycles. There is a chance that there might be a second shop open also, nearby. There will be some local 356 enthusiasts join in from the Santa Cruz/Aptos area.

Directions from Highway 1 Watsonville, Exit Airport Blvd, go east on Airport 4 miles, Left Turn Green Valley Rd (Signal), in a 1/4 mile Left on Amesti Rd.
Then go 1.8 Miles 734 is on the right, gate will be open. Look for the James Dean Spyder on a sign, Check out Klay's website http://safarisignsandgraphics.com/

January 6th is the San Mateo Breakfast - 8:30am Mimi Restaurant west San Mateo, Bridgeport Center
January 13th is the Sacramento area Breakfast 9am at Marie Calendar's Sunrise Blvd (near Madison) in Citrus Heights
January 20 3rd Saturday Hollister Breakfast 8:30am San Juan Oaks Golf Course

February 3 Saturday is the San Mateo Breakfast - 8:30am Mimi's San Mateo, afterwards will be a special tour of Dick DeLuna's "Toy Box #2". A tour group will leave after breakfast 10am, and a short drive to Dicks Warehouse/Museum. His museum is one of the best private collections anywhere. Mimi's Restaurant, Bridgepointe Center, off of #92, San Mateo.
