Northern California Treffpunkt

For those you can be in the SF East Bay on August 6th, there the Nor Cal Treffpunkt, in Concord. An all day event similar to the Emory Campout: Except no camping, just a day in Dave Brubeck Park 8-2:30, with lots of air-cooled VW and Porsche people and cars. Michael puts on a first class event, low cost - $20/car, coffee and donuts, plus food trucks. So if you missed out on getting to Oregon, come to Concord. Swap the stuff you can haul in your car (or not), bring sunscreen and chair and relax in the shade or sun. Bring a picnic, subtle/discrete consumption of adult beverages is tolerated, (but no gas powered margarita blenders), there are tables, trees, and bathrooms.
As a plus just down the street there are Cheese Zombies, a delicacy that started in the local schools for lunch.
