NWR DRR. (NWR Duge Ranch Roundup) Zeke Duge



Years back I hosted a series of "Roundups" at my ranch in SoCal. A good time had by all IICR. Upwards of 80 912s, and the rules were: You had to like Porsches. Period. Food, drinks, hospitality, and opinionated lectures, demonstrations and conversation. A few "on the street" rebuilds thanks to John Benton, and great cooking by Jeff Trask. Did I mention more than enough wine "...because thirst is a dangerous thing.". (Free Snap-On tool for the first correct crediting of that quote without using the Internet.)

Anyway when I bought the ranch in Sisters, we had a Roundup and it was a hoot. So five years later, I intend to do another one! June 18,2016. A Saturday destined to be remembered. Free Food, Liquor, Music, Conversation...... Starting at 11 am and finishing when we go home. Due to insurance considerations, there will be no "Hot Laps" of the upper pasture this year.

I intend to invite the PCA crowd; Portland, High Desert, Cascades, but the focus and best parking will be for the 912ers. If you think you might be able to make it reply in a PM, or by ph. 541-549-1699. No commitment, just trying to get enough food beer, wine, JD, Single Malt etc... So that no one goes thirsty. The will be a Cigar Corral, horse scratching for those of equine sensibilities, and room to stay out of the weather if needed.

Is this event still going on?
It is not on the 356 Group NW calendar of events.
I have not heard of it through the Oregon Region PCA group.
No other 356 owners in the Portland area that I have talked to know of it.
High Desert Region PCA does not have it on their calendar, they and Oregon region have a DE event at the Grass Valley Raceway.
Just want to know if it is a thing that we should attend?

If you want more info on this event you can call Zeke at 541 549 1699 in Sisters Or. This happen every 5 years I got the info off the 912 BBS form were it is listed under events

Please do go to the trouble of posting it to the Calendar, both of this Registry and of your local club. Those are the places I check for this sort of event, and I'm sure I'm not the only one who relies on the Calendar to have all the events on it.

well it least one 356 will be there. just heading out for Bend Or about a six hr drive from here. will post some pic when I get back
