Louisville Swap meet 2015

#1 Post by Tony Proasi »

Guys,

Were doing this swap meet again this year and swap spaces are free!! Bring a truck load of parts to sell we really want to try to make this event work but it takes people willing to make the trip. The worst thing that can happen is you have a good time and sell or buy some parts.

Two weeks away!!

This is our third year and its growing... We have people coming from as far away as Pennsylvania & Michigan. Adam & Matt from Unobtanium Inc. sent down a box of gift bags. If your coming from out of town and bring the kiddo's we are less then a mile from the zoo you can actually here the lion roar in the morning. Bring the wife and impress her with your Porsche parts knowledge then do the Bourbon Trail.

Hi Tony,
Thanks for putting on this event. It has gotten better each year and we look forward to attending.
We have a gang coming down from Cincinnati and plan to make a day of it. Louisville is one great town to visit.
See you on Saturday!

Group of us heading down from Dayton with a couple truck-loads of parts. Looking forward to it. We will have 356/911/914...all kinds of stuff. You Cinti guys better bring some parts too. Don't just show up in your shiny cars and drink coffee. ;-)
Looks like it is going to be a good swap!

Hey David!
It`s UC versus UD.

My parts have a lot more patina (rust) than yours, as they are much older.
Brent Fagen will also be coming down from Indiana. He specializes in shop manuals and parts books.
Looking forward to a great day.
Travel safely.

I had a chance to talk to several people and it seems like everyone had a great time lots of deals to be had for buyers and sellers. Lots of wheels traded hands, deals on engines we're made.

It seems people that don't realize that the deals you can get at a swap meet it beats hanging out on the inter webs waiting for a "deal". You also get to meet and become friends with some great people... Oh and there's beer.

Tony,

We had a great time, sold some parts and bought some parts at great prices.
I did miss the early 911 fenders that went quickly.
Your event poster is really cool, and thanks for the breakfast and cold frosty German beverages.
An old friend Ed Anspach came in from PA and it was nice to see him and others from around the region.
Swapping parts and telling tall tales is one of my favorite things to do.
We will be back next year with more part and sellers from Cincinnati.

Thanks,
Peter Boettcher

Great vendor support...need some more buyers. There were some killer deals to be had. This should give you a better idea...
