356 Club of Southern California Dana Point Concours 7/26/15!

#1 Post by Jeff Trask »

Truly the best annual 356 Concours event…at one of the best concours sites in the world! The 29th annual 356 Club Dana Point Concours – Join us for this special annual event on the lawn at Lantern Bay. If you have been there, you know… if you haven’t, you have heard.

Registration is open now: https://events.r20.constantcontact.com/ ... eq=&c=&ch=

Once again, the 356 Club of Southern California is inviting the Porsche community to be a part of it. As is the custom, any Porsche can come and display on the grass with the 356’s to be judged. It is amazing to see the 400 plus Porsches that come out in support of the concours competitors – it is one of the best displays of Porsches to assemble at any time!

The 356 Club of Southern California invites you to bring your 356 to be judged. Once again, all registration will take place online. Below, you will find the link for the registration. There are nine classes including the “Unrestored” class. If you just want to come and enjoy the day, bring your 356 and park on the lawn with the serious competitors and picnic with all the other owners by your car.

The Laguna Cliffs Marriott is our host hotel. It is directly connected to Lantern Bay Park and there is plenty of covered parking for those wishing to make a weekend of the event. Please contact the Laguna Cliffs Marriott at 949-661-5000 and ask for the “356 Club Dana Point Concours” rate.

Thanks for posting Jeff!

In addition to the 356 classes we are proud to announce the first ever "display only" Coachbuilt class/section at this year's event. Denzel, Rometsch, Dannenhauer & Strauss, Hebmüller, Enzmann, Beutler, etc. are all welcome. Please confirm via email to: trevorcgates at gmail dot com for special entry into the show and so I can get a count on the number of cars for parking. If you happen to know of an owner of one of these Coachbuilt cars that does not go online, please pass along the invitation.

We look forward to seeing all the 356's and Coachbuilt cars!

Thanks 356 Club for a great event. I had a good time even though the wash and shine judge asked me, "You do know that the Wash and Shine class is all about cleanliness, right?"
Kind of hurt my feelings ..... =8^)
Beautiful day, wonderful venue, great cars, nice people

Very nice Trevor, thanks for sharing. I haven't been to such a shindig since we lived in Yucaipa. Photos always seem to come out best on overcast days. Again, well done. Photos form the last two event I attended can be found at hamnerhaus.com
