Unobtanium Open House Saturday August 30th 2014

Unobtanium Open House Saturday August 30th 2014

I want to invite everyone out to our first Open House at our new location in scenic Ravena, NY.
We moved our operation from the old leather factory in Gloversville, NY a couple of years ago and are still moving parts, but our new location is fully up and running housing all of our barn finds and restoration parts for the early Porsches.
The Open House will start at noon and there is plenty of parking that is super safe, the Police Station is the only other building on our dead end street. We encourage everyone to bring their Porsche but if you can't please bring yourself and a few friends. We will have food and drink on hand and the Unobtanium crew of Adam, Matt, and Big John will be there to answer any questions. We might even talk Big John into doing some of his feats of great strength! The warehouse normally has 15-20 early Porsche projects to look at as well as shelf after shelf of parts for your restoration needs, you won't be disappointed if Porsche 356's and early 9 series cars are your passion. In addition some of our personal collection will be on hand like the 356 that won Daytona in 1966, or Matt's 911 Carrera fresh from the paint shop, there will be Porsche eye candy galore!

The shop address is:
Unobtanium
14 W Shore St.
Ravena, NY 12143
Phone 518-705-1355

Hope to see everyone there!

Adam,
From some of us older guys that have not yet had the pleasure, will we also get to meet your mom?

I just got word that Master Metal Shaper Wray Schelin will be in attendance showing off some of the pieces he is working on for the aluminum 550 Spyder body he is building for Unobtanium. Seeing the 550 come together will be very cool.

His website is http://www.proshaper.com if you want to check out his work.

Hope to see everyone there!

If you don't like rusty Porsches, don't like metal fabricators, hate other Porsche owners and dislike their cars even more, you can still come to the open house to get free lunch!

We've secured an award winning food truck to spend the afternoon serving you the most amazing sliders we've ever tried. Delicious sandwiches, gourmet sides, even dessert! Slidin' Dirty was voted one of the Top 10 Food Trucks by Kelly Rippa and co-host Michael for Live! with Kelly and Michael. Now they'll be serving you lunch -- the chefs, not Kelly and Michael. Come on out to Ravena!

Only 3 more days until the open house, the weather is looking perfect, so no excuse not to bring out your car and have some fun.
Since we have gotten such a good response we have decided to add a raffle, you don't have to be there to win, just fill out the card when you arrive. We are giving away some cool coffee table Porsche books, a book on the history of Recaro, and an Ipod Shuffle, and a few more things we will dig out.
So you have cool Porsche's, free food, and now a raffle, you really have no excuse not to be there!!!!!!!
