Willhoit Auto Restorations 40th Anniversary celebration

#1 Post by Roy Lock »

This year John is celebrating his 40th year restoring Porsches.
He is has invited everyone to his shop during Lit Meet Weekend for the annual bratfest.
John has also made a tee shirt to commemorate the anniversary. They will be on sale at John's for $15 or by mail for $20.
I have no interest in this other than to let everyone know that I will beat you to all the brats :D

According to Bill Tripodi, bratmeister for John, he grilled up 356 brats. Lots of fix'ns to go with the brats.

It rained all morning but John summoned the 356 brat spirits and they cleared the heavens long enough for everyone to enjoy them.

As always, this is THE lunch stop on the open house circuit. Around the corner, another famous Long Beach landmark; Joe Jost's, for pickled eggs and a stronger drink to wash down the brat.

I would like to thank John for having us all for lunch, the Friday shop tour wouldn't be complete without his brats. Steve Douglas
