Ski Roundtop Swap Meet 9-15

#1 Post by Adam Wright »

Could we ask for more perfect weather for a swap?

I hope to see everyone there for the 10th anniversary of a great Porsche event. Good friends, good deals, and not perfect weather. You have NO EXCUSE not to be there, unless you like rain, don't like Porsches, or good deals on parts.

I'm bringing a load of 356 and 912 parts to sell. I'll be there early. Red GMC van. I am looking for a dashboard for my late 59 A. Does not have to be the exact year, or complete, I really need the center section, Also need a set of decent used rocker deco for a t6.

925 Roundtop Rd. Lewisberry, PA 17339, I know of a few guys in FL thinking about it, so you might be able to share gas with a couple dudes if you want.

Can't pack a lot of parts into the 356; leave the passenger seat home?

Vic-
Don't forget I packed my car up next to you guys at the last holiday, I was very surprised at the amount of stuff you guys packed in there. Never say never! Or does Barbara do consulting on how to best pack your 356 to maximize? I see a Tech Session.

Here is an aerial shot so everyone can get an idea of the layout of the swap.

Hope to see everyone there!

That's always a possibility Vic. You know, the 356 is good for hauling firewood too. Especially for camping at the racetrack. This was before the 2010 Rolex 24hr.

I always wondered if anyone other than old ladies used the FREE bags, now I know.

And Vic, you live in Michigan, don't tell me you are afraid of a little snow...

I don't think I have ever put wood in my 356, but I have been known the cut down trees to get them out of their hiding places...

I just wanted to thank everyone who volunteers their time to put this event on. It was fantastic as usual. Work prevented me from selling this year, but I got some good deals, saw some beautiful cars and met some great people. Still kicking myself for not buying Bruce Bakers wood wheel. I'll be back next year!
