Attention ECH 2012 Attendees

For all those who are looking forward to coming to Boston in August (15-19) for the East Coast Holiday we wanted to give you a heads up on the hotel situation. We have now reached the half way point on rooms available (147 out of 300). We have more registered but many of our local members are not staying at the hotel. We have booked overflow space at the same rate with two local hotels but they are a few miles from the host hotel. We will not limit the number of people who can attend but that means that not everyone will be able to stay at the Hilton. This is a first come, first serve model but the hotel will not take a reservation without a ECH registration number. This notice is sent out so that all are aware of the situation and are not disappointed by registrating late only to find there is no room at the hotel where all the activities are happening. If you've ever attended an event under those circumstances you know what a pain that can be. Also note that registration fees go up by $100 after July 1st. That is so we have time to order up all the goodies fot the attendees. "Please come to Boston, I'm stayin' here with some friends and they've got lots of room ...." (for now). KTF
