Unless I am unable to get stuff done on Friday for work, I intend to be there Saturday. Being that it is quite a long drive I probably won't be there until about 10am....hopefully there will be some goodie bags left

For a fellow New Yorker, I can probably keep an extra goodie bag under the table.

See ya there!

this just in, Joy's dad slipped away last night in his sleep after a good 82-yr run. So we're not going to be able to make it this year, heading to Kentucky to deal with family matters.

So - y'all have fun doing what you enjoy, and hug a loved one.

It looks like someone forgot to pray to the rain gods in the last few days....looking like sunshine right up through friday....and then sunshine again the beginning of next week....but not looking too promising for Saturday. I certainly hope this won't keep people away...I'm driving 4 hours to get there...I want to see a bunch of 356's :?

LOL,,,Adam, realistically I could make it & still get a couple hours sleep...In 2001 I drove the 356 from Jax, Florida to the Penna state line in 13hours.

Unfortunately, with a 2 month old, my 356 time has been dramatically reduced. If only I could throw the family in the coupe and head out....

Enjoy!

Hershey Meet Thread - Hershey, PA, April 26, 2008

Latest weather reports from the Susquehanna Valley area, Harrisburg,
Lebanon, (Which includes Hershey.) York and Lancaster is 76 degrees Saturday
with late day showers and thunderstorms. It is better than cold and rain
all day.

I just came back from a ride in my Speedster, after changing the oil and
filter and adjusting the valves. It is running fine and I look forward to
the early morning drive to Hershey.

I hope to see many of you there.

Eric,

Good for you! This is the only time my car has seen any rain - and I picked a downpour!

I would be there in mine, but I'm probably going in my friend's SUV - looking for a spare longhood for Cibies on my '68 911L.

Hope to see you there!

I got back from the Swap Meet set-up and hour ago. What a beautiful day,
sunny and mid 70's. Tomorrow should be more of the same, with scattered
showers after 3:00PM.

The big tents are up and some vendors have rolled in their big rigs, such as
CDOC and Stabile Energies. I saw a white with blue top T-6 B Cab pulling in
on a trailer. Yes, it will be for sale tomorrow along with at least one
other 356 I know of. The People's Choice Concours area is set-up. Stop by
to look at a lot of nice Porsches and say hello.

So, break out the shorts and sunscreen for a fun filled Saturday in Hershey.
