This is a wonderful all German make show. This is probably one of my all time favorite shows. You will not find a better organized event.

Looks like a few Porsche will head up to this event from Delaware - sounds just a fun event and we'll have a good drive up there by all accounts..

If you come up past my way, right off the Morgantown exit of the turnpike, we should hook up.

It does sound like a really cool event, and a nice drive. Unfortunately,
baby Ava is due within a week of the event, so I don't think I will be going anywhere, except to the store for more cookies.

But I did insist and get an ok on being at the ECH in September!

Adam,
Congratulations on baby Ava! As you may already know, my wife & I had a baby girl in February. She's two months old tomorrow. Not sure if we will be making the ECH due specifically to her young age and long distance from Florida to Penna.

Therefore, we haven't registered for the ECH yet. Most likely the holiday will be sold out by the time we make a commitment to go or not.

I have participated in this event the past two years and it is a fun, relaxed day. A lot of VW's and BMW's, not too many Porsches. Unfortunately, the cars are not displayed by manufaturer and I would advise anyone who is going to get there early, so you can park in a shady area. A few of us from 356 mid-atlantic go and have a good time.

M-
I feel like I have to go to the ECH this year, it will be my first Registry event when I get to drive a 356 to it. All the other years I have everyone ask me, "Where is your car?" Only to have me say, "Under restoration"

This year I will be driving Roadster 88775.

Congrats on the baby, maybe we would co-write an article on 356 baby seats!

Maybe they'd get a better turnout if they spelled the name of the marque correctly, more of those something-Benzes too... ;)

Close enough that I might attend if it's good weather.

Reminder. This is a very good show in a very good location with very good food! Free BBQ chicken lunch with admission! One of the best organized events I have ever been too!

Kevin,

I'm not going to be able to make it. Rob (Mr. Breeze) and I are going to see the Mets Saturday night and most likely won't be home till late.

Which car are you taking, the 356, the Ghia or the Split?

Have fun and take lots of pics.

Great show and one hell of a fun run from Delaware - route 82 is quite entertaining.
