Thanks for all the welcoming wishes all! and for the Samba link, no I didn't see it but glad I did... I put the first coat of love on 52853 and I am now working on the pan(s). The cabin pans are solid and are cleaning up really nice. Found a great Porsche shop here in Santa Fe (La Carera) with loads of experience with 356's and will have them take apart the engine and do brakes. Thought I'd post a picture of the car's new home... proud of how it turned out as it was a falconry in it's past life.

Several photos in the BAT album show this fender mounted side mirror on your Continental coupe.
Does the backside of the mirror have any markings on it indicating the manufacturer?
Anyone else recognize this brand exterior mirror?

The car is now Black w/Red interior recently done by Autos Int. COA shows original Graphite Metallic w/Beige Leatherette w/Beige Corduroy inserts.
I got the car in'94 w/o any history, so its been blk. w red interior when i got the car.
