Left switch Could not find any information of use for convertibles . On Coupes it is used for the interior light as shown in the manual

One is wiper the other dome light. Pull in between gauges is for dash lights when lights are on.

It is not used on standard convertibles. If you have fog lights, it would be used for those.

Thanks David , so it exists on convertibles but it is used only when fog lights are installed

Also, on Swiss (AMAG) cars, the one on the right was used for switching between city and country horn. Again, this used the spare switch on the cabriolets (though not many cabriolets in CH), and meant adding another switch on the coupes.
