I have recently acquired #80020. Car was delivered in 2nd batch of speedsters to Hoffman in October 1954. Original white/red leather strap car. Car seems to have spent most of its life on the East Coast. Last 20 years appears to have been in Virginia. Owner who passed a couple years ago might have been a vintage Porsche racer but I do not believe he raced this car. Restoration was started and never finished in the last 20 years. Curious if anyone might have seen or raced against #80020 back in the day and might have some history on the car. Would love old pictures and any stories or ownership history that might be available.
